| Today I said goodbye to a lot of people that I've grown to love over the past days, weeks, months, and years.
Some of them I will see again...
but most I won't.
To all the class of 2006, and especially those that have meant so much to me...
I wish you luck in everything you do. I pray that you have the courage to pursue your dreams, even when it's not easy. I hope that you seek out what you're passionate about, and chase that like no other. I hope that you find a purpose in life. I encourage you to step out of what you're used to, to step out of the safety zone, and make yourself vulnerable. Don't get into the groove of every day life, try something daring. As you leave the school we've all learned to love, and step out into something different, keep an open mind to those that come from different places in life. Listen to their ideas, understand their thoughts, and love them for the person they are. But most importantly, I hope that you continue to become the men and women that God desires for you to be. That your experiences to come, whether it be college, work, missions, or whatever path you choose, are something that you cherish the rest of your lives, and that you live every second as a living, breathing, God-seeking individual. Know who you are, where you came from, who you want to be, and who gives you strength. You will go so far.
I give you my love, support, and excitement as you move into the next stage of your life.
Goodbye and good luck |
